“A precious friend at the turn of the road”- That friend is Ebony Lifeline Support Group, Inc.
"Ebony Lifeline Support Group, Inc. developed as a grassroots movement in 1984 through the efforts of Robert Thomas and Luther Stubbs. The goal at the time was to provide an alternative to minority persons who experienced difficulty in utilizing established self-help groups such as Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous. Meetings were held at the Alcoholic Clinic of Youngstown.” (ELSG Publications)
