ABOUT US: Our Mission
Early on KYN recognized the value of collaborating with other groups for revitalization of the neighborhood, empowering youth to help bring change to a neighborhood with many abandoned houses and overgrown lots.
Because we understood the needs, we developed Youth Enrichment Programs (YEP) that would provide hands-on-training, and activities to enrich their lives and gift cards for school clothes and supplies. Throughout the years, this has made a difference for the youth and their families.
Our YEP projects have fulfilled many areas of the mission statement. Our youth know that the community cares for them and that they can make a difference in the revitalization of the neighborhood.
